Recommended for use

1. V60
Grind medium | Coffee 16-18g | Water 280-300ml | Temp 96 | Brew time 2:30-2:45sec
Begin with 50ml bloom for 30sec followed by 3-4 pours at equal amounts of remaining water. From this you can begin to play and find your happy place. Play with percentages to begin with of the 3-4 remaining pours. Some could be 40% of remaining water while the last being only 20%. There is also the option to add a superficial gentle agitation after a pour (usually just one). The V60 world is vast.
Tip: Time each stage and pour into your vessel while plpaced on scale for repeatability and troubleshooting.

2. Chemex
Grind Medium
Use 30g of coffee to 500ml of water. Place a Chemex filter, rinsed in hot water, into the Chemex. Place coffee in then pour 60ml of water to bloom for 30-45ec. Slowly pour the remaining water in circles over 3-4 minutes. Total brew time 4-5min. Yields about 2 cups.
Tip: Your pouring speed or flow massively impacts flavour. Imagine only wanting o disturb the top layer of coffee.

3. Batch Brew
Grind Coarse
Use 60-80g of coffee to 2.2L of water, or 30-40g for 1.1L of water. This is usually don't with a batch brew, dripolater or percolator system.
Tip: You can add a gentle agitation to this, as the coffee cools more flavours will be present.

Origin Story
Filters are totally unique in coffee. Think of them as tea like. There is so much to explore and we change this origin up very regularly for this reason.
This is a place for comfort and serious exploration. An opportunity to dig deeper into this special little bean we all love.
